Informed by recent research and Promethean’s own classroom based experience, this session considers the 3 key aspects of the modern classroom (the learning space, the technology and the pedagogy), and how these can be adapted to support the 4 catalysts of engagement, feedback, personalisation and collaboration which are critical to motivate students to learn. The session considers some of the barriers overcome by successful school leaders in reimagining the classroom. Toolkits for designing, implementing and evaluating the modern classroom are recommended.
