11-year-old Marley Dias has had enough of reading about white boys and their dogs. So she decided to launch a campaign to transform school reading lists and ensure that smart, adventurous and interesting girls like her could see themselves in the characters of the books they read. With the launch of her #1000BlackGirlBooks campaign, Marley started a movement that has so far achieved an impressive list of accomplishments.
