Empowering the teacher technophobe: Kristin Daniels at TEDxBurnsvilleED

Kristin Daniels, Education Technology Consultant Kristin Daniels has worked as a classroom teacher, technology integration specialist and innovation coach, and she is currently an education technology consultant for Technology and Information Educational Services (TIES) in St. Paul, Minn. She is a co-designer and implementor of Flipped PD, a model of professional development that uses digital resources along with a job-embedded coaching model to create personalized professional development for teachers. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
